Hi, we are Paul and Donna Ottaway and we live on the edge of the Weald of Kent which runs generally East to West through the middle of Kent. We are surrounded by apple and pear orchards, woodlands and the downs to the north. We have always had dogs in our lives right from when we were young. Growing up Donna had Toy Poodles and then later Cocker Spaniels. I also had Poodles plus cross breed dogs such as Labrador and GSD mix. For the first few years after we were married we didn't have any dogs as we weren’t in a position to do so. Our first dog when our children were young was Razzle a rescued pedigree English Springer Spaniel, she was rescued by the Breeder following ill treatment. We then rescued a 4 month old American Doberman called Bruno who we brought back from a terrible condition. We now have Dexter our pedigree German Shorthaired Pointer. Well that was the past, and so to the future. Since we have had Dexter we’ve been bitten by the ‘showing bug' and have enjoyed some success in the ring. We have even had the privilege of showing him at Crufts where he gained 3rd place in his class. We are now looking to increase our pack to two GSPs, so watch this space for news. We are happy to announce that we have now picked up our new puppy and what a livewire she is! Dexter is just coming to terms with the shock of going from the single dog in the family, to having this little puppy running about all over the place. We have acquired her from one of the top GSP Breeders in the country Keigame. Her Kennel Club name is Keigame Rhapsody and her pet name is Nala, which is taken from our website name and the the long running show 'The Lion King', Nala is the young Lioness.
